The Goings-on !!
Surely you feel left in the dark these days since it’s been a while since the last post !
My apologies for that. If there is no post, there is no assigned homework for that night as a general rule.
We are trying hard to finish the Animal research projects. Today, 60% of the class went to the French Drama Festival with Mme.Dallaire but the rest stayed back with me for some extra time and attention to the writing task.
Students need to be done of the note taking piece for the 6 sections of their project by the end of tomorrow .. I will list the 6 sections in tomorrow’s log.

Long Weekend News
We started the May Reading Challenge today. Hopefully the end result will be 1000 minutes reading in May and a Subway Kids meal for your child.

Please watch out for 3 notices that are being sent your way: 1) a dental clinic is coming (2) There is a new approach to ‘repeat visitors’ to the office ..and (3) There is a new May reading challenge school wide
Also, we had a 40min. presentation about life in Kenya by Mr.Ted Grant from the Mikinduri Children of Hope Charity today .. we donated 450$ from ice cream sales.
Monday April 28th ~ Homework and notes
Things are in full gear for the Spring Fling Concert with rehearsals in and out of school … we look forward to a terrific show. 4F Has a half dozen choir participants involved in the show.
Homework is Math only ..pages 66 and 67 in the workbook.
Thursday and on to the weekend !!
Thank you parents for helping your child with the Heritage Unit work. Most assignments were passed in on time and projects were of high calibur.
We had a celebration for Madame Rowley today. She completed her teaching time with us. She did a tremendous job and 4F will miss her very much …BIG THANKS to Madame Rowley and bon voyage to her as she heads off to Cuba to mark her uncoming University grad!!!
Spring Fling ticket sales are coming to an end … please buy them this coming Monday since time has pretty much run out.

Math- work on times tables for ten minutes
Tuesday April 22nd
The Family Coat of Arms~ this entails: origin and significance of the student’s first and last names which was researched and provided and illustrations of other values due tomorrow.
French eco-ad poster due thursday… English book critique due Thursday or Friday depending on your homework load.
Trivia is due tomorrow and Madame Dallaire says the students should spend 10 minutes / night on their times tables.
Late Homework posting~Monday April 21st
We will try to mark Earth Day- Tuesday -with a Waste Free Lunch.
The ‘in class’ Trivia work is due Wednesday. The family coat of arms shhet is due this Wed. as well.
For Thursday, we will ask for the French Environment poser “ad’ to be done. There has been classtime alotted for these tasks.
